Bed linen: Unless stated otherwise on the site (i.e., 'set' ), the price quoted is for the duvet cover only.
Bed linen set means duvet cover and a pair of pillowcases, single duvet cover has one pillowcase.
The sheets and pillowcases pictured with the duvet covers can be purchased separately under
'Egyptian bed linen' button or 'polycotton bed linen' button.

The 300 count Egyptian cotton sateen as a 2 row satin edge oxford border on the duvet cover and pillowcase and has a button fastening at the bottom on
the under side of the duvet cover. Available in white only.
Egyptian cotton sateen 800 count
With a running stitch bordering the Oxford border (no satin stitch). Envelope duvet cover has no oxford border surround.

Thread Count
Thread count as described here on the site refers to the amount of threads per square inch of the fabric. (The weft and the warp of the fabric).
The higher the thread count the higher the quality and luxury feel to the fabric - this is reflected in the price.
Polycotton 50/50 = 50% polyester and 50% cotton (thread count 150)
Polycotton percale = 50% polyester and 50% cotton (thread count 180) percale
Egyptian cotton 180 percale: any fabric consisting of 180 threads or more per square inch is classified as 'percale'.
Egyptian Cotton Sateen 300 and 800 thread count
The highest thread count Egyptian cotton we have available is the 800 count. This range is ultra luxurious. Available in white and ivory. Beautifully
soft, the 100% Egyptian cotton sourced from Egypt in the region of the River Nile, renowned throughout the world as the finest due to its long staple
fibres which yield to a soft, silky fabric - absorbent, durable whilst being lustrous to the touch, it really is the ultimate in bedroom style and sensuality.
Egyptian Cotton 400 thread count
This is available in various pastel shades: Cream, Ivory, White, Lavender, Blue, Pink and Pistache. Beautifully soft and durable. 100% Egyptian cotton
sourced from Egypt in the region of the River Nile.

Before placing the duvet covers in the wash, turn inside out. This protects the embroidery and design from piling.
We recommend that you do not use bleach or harsh washing products and wash on a gentle to regular wash.
Ironing
To avoid excessive creasing use a cool down period in tumble dryers and remove the bedlinen as soon as the cycle has completed, fold, lay flat and
iron whilst fabric is still damp. Given this care your linen should remain beautiful for many years. To iron the embroidered designs, either a)
turn duvet cover inside out and iron on the underside of the embroidery with the iron set at a warm setting or b) iron around the embroidery.

Customizing / Personalisation
Monogramming is available - please go to the 'Egyptian Bed Linen' button. We have a variety of beautiful fonts to choose from. If you would like a name
embroidered instead of initials please email info@lynshailer.co.uk with your request.
Recommendation
It is recommended that a top sheet (flat sheet) in addition to a bottom sheet accompanies the duvet cover. All the products are machine washable.

FAQs
1. Do you sell your products from a shop? All the products are sold via our on-line shop website. There are close-ups of the images of the designs,
these can be viewed by moving the mouse over the images and then clicking with the mouse. A swatch of any fabric is available on request.
2. Where are the products made? The Egyptian cotton is sourced from Egypt, the Nile Delta, which is renowned for being the finest. We have thread
counts of 200, 400 and the 300 and also 800 Egyptian cotton sateen. We also have a polycotton range which is made in the UK.
The embroidered designs are stitched here in Wales, UK. Each embroidered product is a ‘made to order’ item. The sizes of bedlinen we have available
are single, double, king and superking.
3. What are the advantages of an embroidered design over a printed design? Apart from the aesthetic appeal, embroidery does last longer whereas a
print soon fades. The embroidery threads we use are of the highest quality, durability and are colour-fast.
4. I own a B&B / Hotel do you supply to Trade? Some of our customers are hoteliers. We offer a professional monogramming and digitizing service to
Trade. Please contact the office either by email, post or phone for further details. The office details are on the ‘contact’ page.
5. I would like a unique design as a gift for someone special, is this service available? Lyn accepts commissions and is happy to provide this
service. Many of the designs on the website have been adapted to the client’s requirements with an exclusive design in mind. We also have a gift
wrapping service on request. Our products make ideal wedding gifts, anniversary and special occasion gifts.
6. Are your designs suitable for uses other than just bedlinen? Embroidery is adaptable and designs can be stitched on to most fabrics. Lyn has
accepted commissions from clients within the haute couture fashion industry and even from a client requesting a design project to be embroidered on a
marquee for a wedding.
7. Do you charge for delivery? Delivery is free to UK mainland. The delivery of your product can be to your home or work’s address or friend or
relative, or anyone you would like to nominate to sign for the goods on your behalf if you might not be able to receive them yourself.
8. I would like to have embroidery on the pillowcases to match the duvet cover, is this a service you provide? Yes for an additional cost a section of
the design can be embroidered on the corner of each pillowcase. Please contact the office for a quote.
